How most of us will feel tomorrow...

Happy New Year my friends!!  I want to start off with a little video I found today- this is awesome-

I hope that plays for you.
As we approach the new year, I want to reflect upon all the wonderful things that happened this year.  I will not make a list of worldly things (the discovering of a new planet, the untimely deaths of many loved actors/producers/icons etc), but rather, reflect upon some wonderful things in my own life.  This is probably more beneficial for me than you, but- hey-- you're reading it too :)
This year, above everything, I am grateful for all of my new friends.  It is amazing the opportunities that I got a chance to live, but my new and old friends stay number 1.  You are all so important in my life and I am so happy to have all of you around.  I am most fortunate for you and I thank you for letting me into your lives.
Next, I got to work on my first television show (My Boys- episode 3.9), my first televison movie (Maneater- Lifetime), walk the red carpet (Wolverine Premier in Tempe), work on my first feature film (Piranha 3d) and got posted on the Fangoria and Gorezone websites. Through all of those projects, I met and worked along with amazing actors, directors and FX crew.  I couldn't have ever imagined the great things that 2009 held in store for me.
I now belong to an acting studio in Burbank and get to work hands on with casting directors, have my official website under construction, am working with the Phoenix comicon, a new production company, and was in another music video- this time for the band Access Zero.
Phew! busy year!!!  I can NOT wait to get moving on 2010!  I want to FAR exceed my accomplishments of 2009-- I am JUST getting started.
What were the most important parts of 2009 for you?  What stands out the most, and what is the most exciting thing to be ending??
I have learned a lot about myself this year as well, especially what needs to be done in order to get the most out of life. We all have something that we are more passionate about than anything.  Talking to a friend on Christmas,we were reflecting on our loved ones lost and what we love most about being here on earth.  He said, "Do you know what the definition of  'passion' is?  It is what you are willing to endure for what you want most strongly. A strong driving force "   For me, loving every minute of life is what I am most passionate about, living for now, not being afraid of what MIGHT happen, taking chances, is what I live for.  I am not saying I do this easily, or even every day.  I do as much as I am able to though.  I threw the word "try" from my vocabulary a while ago.  Trying, is not doing, therefor there is no use in the word.  I may as well say, I thought about it....but just "didn't."
One of my favorite new people took the jump.  Stopped being afraid and just did.  He is now living and doing everything that he ever thought possible, and WAY more.  If we refuse to believe that things will go our way, then we are making that so.  The thing that we all must remember, is that you can never go wrong by doing.  If you are waiting for the "right moment," it will never come.  Honestly, if everyone thought that way, life would probably be a much more difficult place. It isn't up to me to change your mind, I am just saying what I believe.
I hope that 2010 and many many years after are all very wonderful and full of love, life and happiness for all of you.

And the count down begins....

With Christmas right around the corner I want to take some time to let you all know how much you are appreciated.  I appreciate you  taking an interest in what I have to say, looking at the pictures I post, watching the videos I embed, and even leaving me comments telling me what you think.
It means a lot and I thank you all for being here with me and for me during my crazy, fun, fantastic shenanigans.  I will be doing a lot of traveling, as I am sure most of you will, also over the next month.  I have family to visit, workshops to attend, and even some photoshoots and filming to do (weeee!).
I am going to start working more closely with the Phoenix Comicon (http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/) and making some more videos for you to watch.  I will be highlighting guests, vendors and may even have some fun polls for you to participate in.  As always, I will keep you up to date :)
 If I don't post before----

Merry Merry Christmas!!

Pictures and projects

This is one of the pictures from the shoot I did with Faustohernandez.com  (more pics here: http://www.faustohernandez.com/photos/hannys/ ) Let me tell you that this was one of the most interesting places that I have had the opportunity to shoot in.  It was very modern and so fun.  The restaurant is called Hannys Bar and it is in Phoenix.  I LOVED it and hope to shoot there again.  I at least plan on going for some champagne cocktails- hehe.
I also have some winter pictures that I will be posting soon from my shoot with Rapid Ice Photography.  I'm working on some video ideas for the Phoenix Comicon and just paired with  a production company and will be doing a very large amount of projects- ranging from photoshoots to webisodes, feature films, comics, etc.  I will be talking a LOT about it in the near future.  It's an amazing opportunity!

Fw: Good news and more good news

So much good, awesome, amazing news- be careful! Your head might explode!!!
First, we walked outside to start the day to the smell of fresh rain! I had my new comfy sweater and high boots on so I was super warm, and it smelled sooo good outside. Then, while Christmas shopping I found the PERFECT dude gift- Bacon Chocolate. For real- smoked bacon paired with dark chocolate. *drool*
It then starting POURING rain and I got to run through it and jump in puddles! It was so much fun!

--on a side note---just got word that Ill be working on another awesome project w/a great and talented group of people. This is gonna knock your socks off.
Also- my shoot yesterday went great. Check out Fausto Hernandez photography. I can't wait to see and post pics from this one :). The pic is of me in one of the vanity spots in the buildings hall of mirrors--- it was an intense location to say the least!

woweeee

It's been a while my friends!  I have been carried away with the holiday shopping craze, mostly online, and have not done much on any social networking sites.
Let's change that.  I have a new netbook that I plan on using when I make my trips out to Burbank.  That way, I can stay connected when away from home.  It is a necessary evil.  I am now with an acting studio so I will be traveling 1ce or 2ce a month to Burbank for workshops and even more whenever an audition is held.
I am now working with the Phoenix Comicon!!  I will be doing promoting- web videos, interviews with the artists, and much more.  They have lots of information on the site (http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/), including a growing list of guests!!  Felicia day from "The Guild" and "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" was announced and we are VERY excited to have her, along with many other fabulous people join us this year.
I will let you know when I post any videos or interviews and will provide links on my twitter as well.  I may also start another blog specifically for the phx con.  I will keep you all updated.

Don't drown in the holiday madness- reach up above the enticing sales and grab on to some good old fashioned hot cocoa and sit by a fire.

Hole in 1 !!

Meaning of course...that there are going to be photos from 3 events in this post.  It makes perfect sense.  I don't know why you would be confused.....moving on...
Saturday, November 14th, I worked on a music video with AZ Bay pictures.  It was for the band "Access Zero" and it was an absolute blast. Filming started at about 9 am and was set to continue until about 7pm.  I had to leave at 530 pm though so I am not sure what time they completely wrapped for the day.  It was shot in an abandoned wing in a hospital and you better believe I went off and did some exploring on my own.  It was definately creepy but really interesting.  Let me know if you want to see any hospital pics...
The 1st makeup I got was a bit too bloody...so as you can see we had to remove it...and then start over.  It was fun, yet, itchy and the smell was NASTY. bleah.
Next up was my trip to Burbank!  After the filming, I had 1 day of rest (haha--not completely) before I had to get to California to meet with a casting director and attend a workshop.  We drove from 8am to 330pm before I got an hour break for my meeting.  By the time I was finished, I had a 2 and a half hour break before the workshop. I decided to meet with a friend 15 miles away for dinner.  Californa traffic, howerver, had me stuck in the car.  By the time we met up, I had my friend hop in the car, and we drove right back to the studio.  I had 0 time out of the car and no time for dinner  :(  luckily, at 1 that afternoon, I stopped for some lunch with the dinosaurs.

IMG00089.jpg

Raaaawr! Long month so far! There is so much I have gotten to do, so many projects in the works, and lots of sleepless nights. Yesterday at 8 am I left for Burbank. We stopped for some lunch (yum- Burger King). There were dinosaurs!! I've never seen Pee Wee's big adventure, but I hear that's what they are from. :). Then, I went to AIA studios, had an audition and then 2 hours later got to attend a workshop w/some wonderfully talented actors and casting director. By the time the class was out and I got to a friends to sleep, it was already 1230. I missed dinner completely, but it was worth it. I got to sleep until 4 and now I'm on my way back home. 900 miles in 24 hours, dinosaurs, 3.5 hours of sleep and 2 reads for LA casting directors. Not bad. :).
Also, I worked w/ AZ Bay pictures on Saturday, filming for a new music video. Ill have pictures and more information up 1ce I get to a computer!!!

speedy quick like a bunny!

I only have a few minutes so I'll give you a super quick overview of my week until I get some more time tonight or tomorrow.  I have had such an interesting, busy, fun time.
The days sort of run together but duing the week I accomplished tons.  I got my headshots printed and sent out to Burbank which was great, considering I have a meeting/audition/workshop there next Tuesday.  I drove to Tucson (100miles), got locked in a bathroom at a book store, drove back to do 5 hours of work, back to Tucson for the Comic con, and then back home all within about 30 hours.  400 miles, 2 tanks of gas and lots of fun.  The bathroom thing was really funny though.  I love how sometimes the most unexpected things can happen and they just brighten your day.  The attendant kept apologizing through the door, and I just sat on the sink and laughed and laughed.  How often does that happen?  Luckily it was a 1 person restroom and was suprisingly nice- and didn't stink (phew!).
The comic con was amazing.  Unfortunately I only got to spend 2 hours there but I got to visit with the artists, get some great art, and wonder around.  I apologize to all of you that missed me.  Next year I will be a part of the promoting as well and will make sure that I am there the entire day so you can come say "Hi" and visit :)
I'll go into more detail later but here are some pics!

A GIANT Thank you to S. Pierre Price for the headshots.  Here are a few--  I would post more but because of the size of the files they take a very long time to load :)

Photos..and carrots!

ha-  I got ya! There are no carrots in this blog.  What, are you crazy??  I spend last night watching the World Series and doing a photoshoot.  I needed some new headshots for an acting course I will be taking in a few weeks.  I did my own makeup and S. Pierre Price came over to snap some great images.  :)  I can't decide which one I want to use as my headshot, but I have a really good lot to pick from, and even have some fun ones I can just keep for my portfolio.

news

I was up for 35 straight hours!!  I think that's a new record for me.  Ha- it was kind of fun.  I sat and made a Beginners French study guide.
Today when I walked outside it was cold.  This is the first day that it has gone from chilly to cold- and I love it.  I will be walking around the house with one of my comfy robes on for the next few months, and visiting my family so I can hang out in from of a beautiful fire in their fireplace.  This is my favorite time of year!  Now-  I just need to get myself a good 3 or 4 pair of boots and some nice sweaters.
I'm heading to bed for some well deserved sleep (I also did a lot of cleaning, including scrubbing and vacuuming the inside of my car).
I will leave you with something from one of my favorite people in the business--- *giggle*  - oh yes- crush ;p

Comic con!

I'm kind of bummed. I was supposed to shoot the last of my scenes for the short film, "The Backup Plan" but it got cancelled and pushed to later in November. Luckily, I have 2 very exciting events coming up. November 7th, as you all should know and be planning for, is the Tucson Comic-con. If you haven't yet- make sure to join the TWITTER page-- www.twitter.com/tucsoncomiccon. There will be some amazing artists and local vendors this year.  Make sure to watch the video blog for detailed information and names.
The other thing I am looking forward to is November 14th.  I am filming again with AZ Bay Pictures.  They are filming another kick ass music video so I will be busy working all day with that crew/cast/band.  In case you don't remember or haven't yet seen any of their work, here is the last video they did for "The Love Me Nots"

The Love Me Nots "You're Really Something"

CritterTeeth Films

MySpace Video

Like always, I will be posting pictures and keeping you as updated as possible during all of this.
I finally got new innertubes for my tires so I am going to be doing a lot of riding around town- I am so excited I'm going to explode.
Halloween is a few days away-- what are you going to be??

oh I know....

I’m back just to post a very quick little blog tonight.

It's more of just me spouting out about things that I have been thinking to myself and I wish that I could share with all of you the feeling that I have. I am a strong believer in the fact that we are all here for one reason, and that is to do everything we can to be happy. Religion isn't really something that I fall back on, or use as a crutch, so I believe primarily in the here and now. I am not saying I don't believe in some higher being, spirit, or entity. I am just saying that I do not believe in the sugar coated promises of something much much better than what we have here. We have some time here while our energy fuels our vessel and we have to make the absolute most of it. Every breath is beauty, power, and energy. I like to use that keep the most positive feelings flowing throughout. I am going to live life as I want. What I have the most fun doing, what fills me with absolute joy and complete passion is what I will live my life doing. There is no reason in the world not to. Why else would we be here? We are not living our lives for someone else. That is what they have their own life for. Look around, soak it in. Close your eyes and just breathe. Everything is beautiful. The world is so amazingly vivid and awesome and intense. While at the same time- soft, beautiful and soothing. Everything is unexplainable wonderful. When things get rough we can always just sit and listen to everything and remember that good news is always around the corner.
I may have confused you but that is exactly how I feel. I love so many things and can't wait to continue living and breathing in life.
Well, my friends-here are some new pictures for you all. Good night!

Lego my stegosaurus

Hey! I haven't been keeping up on any of my sites lately so I am stopping in to let you all know I'm alive. Ok, maybe I'm convincing myself I am alive and well a little bit too. Things have been kind of hectic. I have been running around doing lots of little life things. Not necessarily attending events, filming or doing any shoots, but hey- life happens too. I will be finishing my filming in "The Back-up Plan" by Jeff Singer on December 31st. I will also be going to a Halloween party that night, and working in the afternoon. That is going to be one LOOOOONG day. Filming will start at 5am, and then party will not end until well after midnight. Scot and I decided to go as Alice and the Mad Hatter. I will be a dark Alice though (think- Raven Gregory).
The comic-con is still being put together and will be held on November 7th at The Hotel Arizona in Tucson. This will be from 10am to 7pm and will have lots of great guests and artists. I can not wait to get some new sketches.
I cleaned my bike off yesterday and now just need some new tires, as I will be doing a lot of riding this fall/winter. I love being out in the cool crisp air. There is nothing better than feeling that chill. The slight bite on my skin makes me feel so alive. I just get filled with intense happiness. I love it.
I signed up for a few acting workshops for the next few months and will be getting new headshots that I will post to show all of you. I may be taking an acting class in college next semester, depending on how the money situation goes.
That's all my ramblings for today. I'll talk at you all later. xoxoxoxoxo

Laugh, Live and be as goofy as you want. Live strictly for yourself. Life. Is. Great.

blog time.

I had a few hectic days between posts!!
I went to Palm Springs for my Tia's funeral. On the way up we hit something and it caused the truck to keep stalling over the next 2 days, until my Dad fixed it. Thank God for intelligent and mechanically inclined parents. We stayed at a resort and spa while there, it was AMAZING. The pool immediately outside of our room had a bar but was full of people drinking and partying (weeee!!), but we had my sisters with us so we went down to the main pool which was empty. The main pool was INCREDIBLE though and I would have much rather been there anyways. One entire side was lined with those giant beds and pillows under ramadas (?). I'm not sure if I'm using the right word but they were covered individually and if you wanted you could pull the curtains down and have the beds to yourself for massages or whatever else. I want to book that place again with some friends and just go down and lay at the pool and sip champagne, or fruity mixed drinks. It would have been expensive to drink, considering a 3 egg omlete was 13.00 on the room service menu.
After we got home, I hung out with the family and then headed home to bed. The next day I was back at work. I however, had a massive headache so went home, took some advil and started season 1 of True Blood before turning in for the night.
I got invited to model for the Fetish Ball again this year!! October 10th at 8pm in Scottsdale. I go in for my fitting on October 5th. I'm excited this will be HOT! I am going in today or tomorrow to buy a black and green vinyl dress I fell in love with last week.
Have you seen this?

Barack Obama's amazingly consistent smile from Eric Spiegelman on Vimeo.

Tell me that isn't odd. His hand and body move, but his head and face stay almost exactly the same. Hmmm... practice that smile much Mr. President?

tooo day

I got up and ate some golden grahms.....sooo yummy. Last night I was up really late crying and talking about life stuff that I can only really open up and tell my man. Hint: I miss my family in Ohio and missed the past 12 years of being with my family and my brothers have grown without me. Anyyyywayyyys--- I had my breaskfast, and then we left to pass out fliers. I hit up some Atomic Comic shops, Bookmans, Gregs comics, etc., THen I went to Scottsdale to meet with the set photographer from the last film I was in. Since I played the lead he had made a poster of me and framed it for me as a suprise. Scot hung it up in our bedroom. It's awesome.

After picking up my awesome photo we went to grab some dinner and then put dropped off some more fliers at zia records.
So- I decided that I will be Jo or Meg from Burst Angel.. I see that I am getting a lot of views per day. If you don't tell me what you want to see then I can't do a poll. Don't be shy--- what do you want to see me as on November 7th at this years Tucson comic-con? Let me know.

*****I can not neglect to add that my Tia Ruth passed away yesterday after a courageous battle with cancer- Rest In Peace Tia Ruth.. We love you and will remember you until the day we meet with you in Heaven...or wherever it is we go when our bodies cease to live on*******************
I am now going to watch some more Burst Angel.

whoops

Yesterday when I got in my car my eyes started burning and my throat got really scratchy....bad- I thought, "Did the heat bring my horrific air 'freshener' back from the dead?" Then I realized that a few days before my old car battery had leaked in my back seat. I immediately rolled all the wondows down, got out of the car, and put the air on full blast (after opening the back of course).
I let it sit like that for a few minutes before I could even get back in the car. It was horrible and made me soo sick to my stomach. I ended up missing the 1st audition I had lined up in a month because I was sick in bed until 5. MAJOR bummer.
I have been slacking really badly with everything, working out, eating well, laying out, getting acting modeling shit done. It really has me down.
When I get up tomorrow I will be doing p90x, ab ripper x and then going to pass out all of the fliers that I got LAST WEEK.
Lame!
It's time to get back on track because I have MAJORLY fallen off.

new website? Guns? Midget tossing??

I just got back from Cavalry Arms. I spent a few hours going over installing the lower kit on an AR-15. That's right folks, I am at it again. I have a photoshoot with them tomorrow and then next week will be filming the tutorial video. This is for those that have the parts available, and may not know exactly how to put the gun together. MY gun...is purple. I HAVE to have a custom gun!! IT's me!
I did nothing but run errands today!! I didn't even get lunch or a chance to lay out! At least I got a lot done. I will have a blackberry next week too so it will be a lot more convenient for me to update my blog, pics and twitter. YAY!
Speaking of...Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/victoriapaege) I have been updating that more than anything else and even adding some pics that I haven't posted anywhere else. Just an FYI if you haven't started following me yet. *wink wink*
Ok--take a look at this picture. It is hanging at the gun company I will be working for and I HAD to take a picture. It's funny...but now look closer. What is going on in this picture?? Like, really, going on??? I want to hear what you all think. It's pretty crazy.

Noooow--- As for the website. I have a site name (not willing/able to pay for a domain yet though) but need some help with setting things up. If you get in contact with me I can give some examples. Anyone really good with web setup?? I need help!!
Thank you :)
I just got a call from a director/producer and I have an audition on Saturday! That's always good news. We'll see how it goes!

p 90..p 90 X!!

It's about that time again. When I first started my blogger account I was doing P90x, working my ass off and loving every minute of it. Then, like usual..things died down a little, I started working non-stop, and I made excuses. It's time for me to start up again. I am excited, I always feel so good when I do this workout.
In other news-----The flyers are here!!!!

I will be leaving them around town starting tomorrow. Watch for them at Bookmans, Zia, Atomic Comics and other places like that :) I am very excited!
I didn't get the video blog done because I went out of town. If you were looking for the 6th update and didn't find it, that's why. I will work on it tomorrow (Tuesday).
In other news....Patrick Swayze!! He is finally at rest after what had to be an exhausting battle with cancer. He hung on and got to stay with his family during his last months which is one of the best ways to spend your last days. May he rest in peace.
Ok, now, what I really want to go over is the Kanye West debaccle. I know that everyone has already talked about it. Ever since it happened at last nights VMA's. However, I just have 1 question to ask. If Serena Williams can lose an important game for "unsportsmanlike conduct," why is it that these entertainers can't be disqualified from things for their behavior???
Tennis matches actually matter. A reprocussion so big as to lose a match because of your behavior is a bit harsh. However, in the world of awards...it seems that you can act however you want and will still be in the running for every award possible. Getting nominated is a pretty exciting thing. Being invited and attending an awards ceremony, whether it be the Teen Choice awards, or the Emmys, is a privlidge. If you act out of hand, why are you only kicked out of the remainder of the event? Why not be held responsible for acting IRRESPONSIBLE and be disqualified from being nominated at the NEXT awards show that may be? I think it seems like pretty fair punishment. Whether you like it or not, when you become a celebrity, you become a role model. It seems like the majority of the nations "role models" are teaching everyone else that it is ok to act like a spoiled brat. And why not? You'll never be held responsible for your actions.

Oh!! Almost forgot

I still need help with promoting costs for the con this year...any contributions are GREATLY appreciated!!

Thank you so much! xoxoxoxo

Slacker!

It has been a few days since I got a chance to sit fora second and write what's going on around me. I am going to be working on another video blog today for the Tucson comic-con so I should be getting that posted today or tomorrow. Also, I am still needing ideas for my Cosplay outfit. So far it's between Aeris, Yuffie or x-23. The sooner I get more people giving me ideas, the quicker I can get the outfit made ; )
I just heard from L.A. and I have some potentially AWESOME news. If all goes well and there isn't some TRAGIC event that takes place, I will be working on a show from November until March!!! Here I come ABC! I am so excited I can't control myself.
I got the pictures back from the last shoot that I did. 3 have been touched up, I will post some for you *wink* I think these are the best that I have done yet. Definately a more mature theme. Different than anything I have done so far. I am very grateful and thank Pierre Price for the wonderful shoot. I am also going to be doing another photoshoot and tutorial video for Cavalry Arms. We were going to shoot today but not only is my car in the shop, one of the organizers is out because he just had dental surgery. OUCH!
Hopefully next week will be a little better and we can get things done.
I will be leaving for a short out of town roadtrip this Sunday-Tuesday. I am excited to go hang with some friends and family. There is a place that I always go to in Florence called A and M Pizza. Whenever I head out of town I make sure to stop there for a sub. They make the best bread and have the best subs in Arizona. *licks lips* great...now I'm hungry haha.

My thoughts on the matter...

On September 8th, President Barack Obama is planning on making an address geared toward children and education. According to the White House, this address is going to be made in order to promote “the importance of [students] taking responsibility for their education, [and to] challenging [sic] them to set goals and do everything they can to succeed.” Sounds great, right? Our LEADER, taking some initiative and addressing the nations youth. Someone is showing that they CARE about the children and is taking steps towards at least trying to talk to the youth and making them aware of the fact that we need to embrace and work towards our futures. Our OWN future. I think that somewhere along the way we have neglected to bring up the importance of education and hard work.
I found the link (from the White House twitter page, believe it or not), that goes over the speech that is prepared, and there isn't a thing wrong with it. I got on a chat site today and someone said something along the lines of, "Don't say SHIT to my kid!" Really?! You're getting pretty defensive about your kid. What the hell do you think the President is going to say? "Support me no matter what, join the army, disobey your parents and forget about thinking on your own?" We take for granted the fact that we have it so easy here in America. In other countries, say the wrong thing about your ruler and your entire family will be shot down. That, or you will be humiliated and killed. Does anyone remember learning about Kim Jong-il and the false stories he makes up about everything? If you don't remember you should look it up. Even do a google search for the story he tells about his birth. We have a lot to learn. Some people are extremely ignorant.
The leader is here to lead, whether we like it or not. He will make decisions that he believes are for the good of the country. He will also make decisions that may not make us happy, but will at least help the country, or Government (as a whole) out. You can think of it like a business because that is essentially what it is. He isn't going to hold your hand and tell you sugar coated stories to make you feel better about the country. He is going to do what he seems necessary and we have to accept that.
Now stop your bitching.

Haha..

After a few seconds you may think, "ok, this is kind of getting lame", but that thought will only last another 2 seconds at best. This is pretty funny.

9.3.09 2nd post

I am working on the next video blog for the Comic-con and should have it tomorrow (Friday). I have an ***************UPDATE**************** for one of the posts I did linking blood and dust comics. I gave you the mysspace page of http://www.myspace.com/juddglenny but I didn't give you the website address for their page!
http://www.bloodanddustcomic.com
Make sure to check it out for up to date info on their comic. I got to read the 1st 3 issues...hehe..I love the shit out of it so far. Wonderful..and dark. Just the way I like my comics!
It is finally storming so I am going to go hang out in the rain. I'll update you with more info tomorrow!

9.3.09 1st post

Some days can be full of absolutely nothing, while others are so full you can't remember everything. It's funny how it works like that sometimes.
I feel like most of my days lately have been full of a lot of nothing. Luckily I am changing that. I got the first 6 episode of Watch Over Me printed up and have been running lines the past 2 days which is a good start. I am going to be rehearsing with the producer/actor next week which will take up an entire afternoon. I have also been eating much healthier and working out more so that I can start getting some photoshoots done and pictures posted. (YAY!)
I have an audition for a small student film tomorrow, but to be honest I really don't feel like going. I have done enough student films to know 1-there will be no pay, 2-there will be a LOT of disorganization and 3- the schedule will be changed a million times to accomadate other "actors" schedules. Plus, it's an hour drive to the audition. Not really worth it to me. Don't get me wrong, I don't in any way think that just because I have worked on a few bigger budget productions that I am ABOVE it, it just isn't an avenue I am focusing on right now. Plus, I have the web series to work on.
I started a twitter account. I only have followers. Hehe...it's ok. I like to read other people's tweets. It is a cute little site. It's like a giant mass text message. I can't really figure out how to use it though. I can't reply to anyone from my phone and don't know how to post links. You would think with my A plus college trainig (yes, I passes both classes), that I would be able to figure out something simple like that. haha..I'm in a good mood so I makes giggle :D
I went to the pool today-
Where is everyone?? It only took 20 minutes of complete silence and then this cute girl came out and cracked a beer. Yum *licks lips* We chatted a bit, it was nice to have company!!

It's raining, it's pouring

It's about time we get a little rain. I don't know what happened this year but out Monsoon season was non-existant. I really like the little thunderstorms that we get every year...unfortunatly I have only been able to enjoy 2 or 3 so far. Maybe there will be more.
Tomorrow will be 2 years since my mister and I have been together :D . He has to work tomorrow afternoon though so we had our dinner tonight. I made a HUGE steak (I think it was 4 or 5 pounds), mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. It was delicious.
Tomorrow if it is sunny all I have planned is laying and reading by the pool. It will be very relaxing. I have 1 of the pictures from the quick bikini shoot I did that I have attached. (It was a do-it yourself shoot. No professional photographer lol) Oh well, it served it's purpose. I have also been reading through some scripts but don't have any auditions starting until September 4th. We will see how those go. I am aching for some more work. I HATE not being on set. I am addicted.

I totally swore against it

But...I finally caved and started a twitter account. That's right. Me. I make fun of that shit...but now I can see myself becoming addicted very quickly. Like a russian prostitue and heroin. Oh well. My twitter address is twitter.com/vpaege. I signed up for it on my phine but don't really know how it works yet. I guess we will see.
So far none of the LA opportunities I have been going far are producing any results..but hey it's only been 2 things so far. There will be many more I am sure. I was supposed to go to Wet and Wild with my friends today but am stuck with no money..again. At least I'll have time to get a workout it. Having time and actually doing the workout are 2 different things though lol. I'll let you know how it goes. I got my bikini shoot done this week.. I needed full body pics very quickly and luckily I had some friends willing to help me out. Great Great friends :)
I posted a 4th video (posted here) for the comic-con. I will make the next 1 more interesting. I was in a hurry this week so it's not my best...get over it!
Thank you all again for the help with my Chipin account. Remember- you can find it further down the page or by going to my myspace (www.myspace.com/missvictoriapaege).

New comic-con information....and some corrections!!

First of all I want to apologize for not updating everyone on the raffle BEFORE it took place in Tucson (this Tuesday the 25th). That was 100% my fault. It was on the website, and if I would have read it ahead of time I could have that information ahead of time. See what happens when you don't go to the page?!?!? Learn from my mistake guys...
Another correction- I went to the AZ Bay video showing in Scottsdale this week. It was not "Damaged Goods Media" as I had put earlier. I'm fucking up left and right~~
FInally though- I have a new video up. This time I went over the vendor information for Modelers or Mice. The artwork on their "props" is pretty freaking outstanding. They have guns, toys, masks. You really need to check out the gallery on their page. http://modelersormice.com/default.aspx Please also remember to check out Tucsoncomic-con.com for more information and for table information if you are a vendor.
Other than that, I enjoyed my last 2 days off. I finally went to the gym and did some good exercises yesterday. I layed by the pool the last 2 days also....that was sooo nice.
Amanda- I love you ladybug. Thank you for the contribution. You are wonderful~!
*I'm talking about my CHipin account that you can all find further down this page....or on my Myspace page. It is setup to help me with promotion costs and I appreciate every bit of help I can get:)*

pics from LA

Sooooo............... I went to Martini Ranch this weekend. I watched a lot of Arizona Bay Pictures videos play (2 of witch I was in --*yay*)..and then got to meet a lot of good contacts. I worked today and then came home and went out to eat with myman and his friends. I really wanted to hit up a happy hour, but unfortunately Applebees doesn't have happy hour on the weekends. Lame.... I finally got a frame for my High Tension poster....it looks amazing. Then we came home and I drank some champagne. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to entice the buzz...or drunk, I was hoping for. I am going to start getting ready got a photo shoot and I have to start tomorrow (it's a minimum 3 week prep time), so I was hoping tonight would be a gooooooood, drunk, fun night. Damn it, damn it, damn it. I lose this time inspector Gadget.

As for the Comic-con: I am to do the promotional videos.
The next few weeks to a month I will be focusing on the actual vendors and going over some basic information. Just like usual. Make sure to stay tuned- I promise once all of this is done I will focus more on me an my other projects.
Thanks for staying loyal!

Back home!

I took a little vacation- -without my computer. I spent a few days in beautiful California. I had my meeting on Monday but don't have any information yet as to if I will be getting the opportunity I am hoping for. I should know more in 1 to 2 weeks and then there may be a BIG change in my life. Other than the meeting on Monday, I got to hang out with some old friends in LA. We went to see District 9 (amazing movie), and then hit up a few local spots for some food and drinks. It's always good to hang with familiar, friendly faces, as well as to meet new ones! I spend Tuesday with my friend Donnie driving around the coast, hiking some amazing, hidden spots by the ocean, and enjoying Santa Clarita. I got to see the "Sunken City." It is apparently a town that was built on the edge of the ocean and one day just completely sunk into the ground. There wasn't an earthquake or huge storm or anything, it just sank. It was pretty cool to look at. It's behind a big gate and you would never know it was even there unless you were a local. There are still big chunks of pavement in the dirt and you can even see where the road just stops and then drops off to this huge hole. Very interesting. The house I stayed at was amazing as well. It belongs to the owner of Spectrum FX. I can't really even begin to describe how beautiful it was. It is on 14 acres and is literally on the mountain...well, part of the mountain almost. It was spectacular.
Today was Scot's birthday so after he opened his presents we went to see a movie, layed by the pool, and then ran some errands. I made a great dinner too and am sooo full! I wanted to go out for dessert but now I am just waiting for Monday when I get to pick up the cake I had custom made for him. *Thank you Bindi Baby*
As for another comic update----I should be able to do one this weekend, as soon as I have some more information about the vendors.
Tomorrow night though I will be at Martini Ranch to see some video premiers. Doors are at 8, show is at 9 which will be followed by lots of drinking and socializing. Make sure to go if you are looking for something to do this Saturday. 21 and up only!
I'll get some pics and post them Sunday :)

Video blog number 3!

I just posted my 3rd video blog with Tucson comic-con updates. As promised, I am going to be providing you with all of the links needed to check out the sites of the companies I mentioned. First- if you do not already have the link for the actual Tucson comic-con site-- here it is http://tucsoncomic-con.com/ Also, as for the artists that will be doing the artwork that will be on the upcoming flyers- here is their site:http://evilrobo.com/
Now-- for the myspace of my friends at Nightshade Productions: http://www.myspace.com/juddglenny. Make sure to add them as friends, check out their page, and come back every Monday when the post a new page!
As for me-- I am still more than happy to accept contributions to help me with distribution (paper/printing/gas/etc/etc/etc).

Thanks again guys!
Ok-- Now-- for my own personal news. The last post was done so quickly that I didn't really have time to go over anything. I am going to be heading to LA this Sunday. I have an interview/audition on Monday morning. I am nervous/anxious/excited. This could be a really good step for me. I am also really excited to possibly have some time to hang out with some friends that live in the Hollywood/LA area. Little mini vacations are fun.
I told you that I got to move to part time at work. It is really helping. It feels so good to know that I can work AND get out in time to get some exercise and house cleaning done. Not to mention I will have way more time to get photo shoots done. I can't wait for Monday to be over with. I keep getting those damn nervous butterflies in my stomach. This always happens to me. I am never really nervous when the moment comes but before....I guess it's just the fact that I don't know what to expect. I will be fine and I will let you all know exactly what the outcome is. Either way, I'm getting my name and face out there, which is what I need. I have been contacted about several other films also and am hoping that I get a good solid role out of at least 1 of them.
Not too much else is going on at the moment other than trying to prepare for my mans birthday. There's always something going on :)

Quick post

I don't have anything to go over tucson-con wise so I haven't made a post yet. I am going to record something though as I at least want to make sure that I am keeping you updated weekly as promised.
On to me--
They let me switch to part time at work so now I can focus on more acting at the time being. Also, I had a Sunday through Wednesday LA trip planned so that I could go meet with a stunt casting director. That has been postponed--to next week. I will be up there and able to hang out with everyone...who know, I may even get to try surfing for the first time in my life. Cross your fingers for me as I really want and need this change. It will be very helpful. I can't wait for next weekend! I will post more tonight and possibly post a video. If not tonight, I guarantee one tomorrow. xoxoxoxo
Victoria----- Here's an oldie but a goodie-- next pics will be from the con shoot!

Comic-con Information- 2nd Post! - Watch more funny videos here

Progress??

Hey guys-- I still need help from contributors on my chipin account.

I appreciate anything-even 2 bucks--Other than that, I want to say that episode 3 of Watch Over me has been written and now I am just waiting to film. Also, remember when I said I had some news about possible opening opportunities arising from Piranha 3d? Well. I have a meeting with a casting agent in L.A. this Monday. It wont be for a role really but more for stunts...with screen time during filming days. I leave Sunday night and will be staying in LA until Wednesday afernoon. I need all the positive thoughts possible! Also, if you haven't yet seen it, I posted a new video blog with Tucson Comic-con information. Here is the video-- You guys rock--and thanks for following my ramblings and crazy schedules :)

Saturday, August 1, 2009

oooh wow.....

I have some...no....I have lots of new things to talk about. It's amazing sometimes how many things can happen in a week. First off, I want to thank everyone who has been watching and following my video blogs. Awesome. Second, I am still working on "The Backup Plan" by Sub-par productions. The last night we spend filming went waaaay over schedule and we didn't wrap until 4am. The last scene has yet to be scheduled. I guess we'll see if it gets completed.
I have still been working 40 hour work weeks as well so I have been absolutely exhausted. I more and then hopefully, HOPEFULLY, they will switch me to part time (20 hours). That will help tremendously. It has only been a few weeks but already I am feeling the effects. I feel like shit after sitting in a chair for 11 hours a day. I haven't been able to work out very much at all, and I am missing the sun like crazy!! I have also missed out on some auditions and photoshoots so everything has really got me thinking things over. Sometimes it's so hard to make a leap when you know that it is -100% the best decision.
On that note...I may have an opportunity to spend and work for 4 months in LA on a show. I will have a place to stay, a vehicle to drive, be getting pretty good money and will be busting my ass and staying in hardcore shape. I will also be working with and meeting really really important contacts. I will hear more about this within the next week (cross your fingers). If not, then I know it's because there is a better opportunity that has yet to present itself :)
I went to my friend Brent's birthday party last week and got to enjoy dinner and drinks with my beautiful friends so I have pictures here for you! :)

Busy weekend!!

It's been too long since my last post and I apologize for that. I have been very busy with work lately that I just come home, read a little and crash. I haven't even had time to lay out :( Tonight though, I told myself that, if anything, I would at least blog. I will do a video blog on Monday as that will be the 1st chance I get. I was filming all day today (I just got home at 12:03am). I have to work tomorrow from 8:15am to 7:15pm...and then fim another scene. We are hoping to wrap around midnight tomorrow and then pick up at 5:30 am Sunday morning. Then, after filming I have to work at my other job (you know, the one that gives me health insurance).
Today was a good shoot though. I met a new group of people and hopefully have another person to help me with the Tucson Con promotions. I am really getting lucky with all the help people are offering. YAY awesome people!!
If things go well I will have a photoshoot with an amazing photographer (Scott Price) on Monday. After which I will be filming and posting my Video blog. The organizer of the Con is in San Diego right now at the San Diego Comic Con trying to get new additions to bring down. Cross your fingers--we all want more amazing writers/artists etc..
I should be doing another shoot with the adorable Dominique in the next few weeks. We are going to use these pictures for more flyers/banners/etcetera. We read comics and we aren't afraid to show the world..I mean we all know-- Real Chicks Read Comics.
I'll leave you with that--and a picture that a friend clicked of me from set today..between filming.

Piranha 3-d!

Through June 13th I am filming on Piranha 3-d in lake havasu, AZ!!! So far, I have met Elizabeth Shue, Ving Rhames (badass Ving Rhames), Jerry Oconnell and Steven Mcqueen. I have been awesomly fortunate to have gotten this opportunity to work with them. I am staying with 4 of the most beautiful girls in the entire world and we are having the time of our lives. The first 2 days we were dancing on a boat, in the sun, for 16 hours. I have been gettting a ridiculous amount of sun! Yesterday we got to be in the water-YAY! Today is day 4 and with it onlly being 4 days in, I already have a billion stories. Everyone that I have met so far has been so amazing! Piranha 3-d is going to be such a fun movie. Without giving it away I can tell you that an earthquake opens the ocean and prehestoric piranah are released into Lake Victoria. That's where we come in. I play a spring break dancer. I have been dancing my ass off, and paddling up and down the river like crazy. (We are putting in 13-16 hour days so we are all drained!) The movie will have boobs, dancing, explosions, screaminng, gore, and girl on girl action!! wooohooo!! Tomorrow we start "the massacre," and that is when we all start getting eaten. Weeeee!! Piranha dinner!! Ill keep updating and posting the next 2 weeks. :)

I have some picks from the draft party a few weeks ago- I have been slacking on my posts so there will be lots of new pics up today!

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

So far this week...

Today I got to meet Mark Waid again at Atomic Comics in Mesa. He is probably the nicest comic artist in history. We got some stuff signed and I picked up the new Fables-- I am still working on some video blogs- I plan on posting those very soon.
Monday night I went to Bella Lune's last show at Martini ranch. The sound was awesome and I met some pretty cool people. I will get to see Fusha again for a photo shoot for Fetish Falls on the 17th. We are going to do some modeling for the web site. I can't wait.

Allllllllllright-

yet another reason to stay out of the ocean, as if the mega shark and giant octupus aren't enough. Now, we have zombies to worry about- oh, and watch out, they're fiesty.

Really?! I thought we were past this...

Ok- so here in 2009 and 9 with our ability to create movie masterpieces, you would think that we would be past the point of this---

I mean, come on, is it 1982?

Pictures of the cast or "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I attended the WORLD PREMIERE of "Wolverine: Origins" last night and got to walk the red carpet! Don't mind my face in that picture..I didn't have a clue what Scot was taking a picture of. Most of the cast was there- Will i AM, Ryan Reynolds, Leiv Schreiber, Hugh Jackman, Lynn Collins and Director Gavin Hood. Once inside the Cine Capri, I was surrounded by big names like Mr. Harkins, Alice Cooper, Matt Leinart, Todd Mcfarlane and many others. It was so Awesome to be in a theater with not only the cast but all the other big names. I almost forgot! I met Scott MacIntyre and his brother (remember--from American Idol?). I love that guy. They were super nice too. I HAD to go say hi. The Movie was great. It did, like most other comic movies, seem very rushed. They introduced new characters and then gave them very little screen time. Also, Deadpool...kick ass--but not around long enough! Make sure that if you see the movie you stay past the credits. The director has "Easter Eggs" as he called them. There are 7 total different clips. The theater you go to will determine which little "Easter Egg" you get to see. I'll post some more pictures of the cast up on stage---
