Work work work

Today my mind is racing.  I was supposed to go to a wedding but instead have been feeling nasous and feverish.  I've known this couple and the groom's family very closely for the last 10 years.  The fact that I am missing one of their most important days is probably not help the sick feeling I have, nicely settled in the pit of my stomach.
YUCK!
On another note---
I have been thinking a lot about the Phoenix Comicon that I am a part of this year.  I will not only have the opportunity to participate at the events and meet all of the supporters, do numerous photoshoots and media spots, but I get to interview the guests before and during the convention.  Guests that include media people like:
Wil Wheaton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000696/
Felicia Day http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000696/
Levar Burton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000996/)
James Marsters http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0551346/
Lou Ferrigno http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002073/   <----come on, did you really have click on the link? Doubful.
But comic artists, inkers, and writers such as:
Eric Basaldua- http://ebas.deviantart.com/  I had the pleasure of meeting him last year.  His work has gotten even better since just 2009 alone.-- It's aproaching "absolutely fucking amazing." Truth.

I have to admit that I am thrilled to have this opportunity.  As you remember, I did promotions and video blogs for the Tucson Comiccon last year.  This is similar....just multiply it.

(TCC X more amazing) X (More guests, bands) X (much bigger convention center and spanning 4 days)= My new job.

Yes, it is going to be a show, that's for sure.  I will be doing cosplay too.  I have some costumes in the works.
Now this will be my first posistion doing interviews.  I figure, I can host, act and model.  I should be able to pull of some pretty good interviews.
We have bands playing, awesome events, panels and more. I will be at the Mesa Bookmans tomorrow from 130-3pm while the signing is going on.  I won't necessarily be at the table, but if you look hard enough, you'll probably find me roaming the store....Make sure to say hi!!!!!
I have some pre-con interviews set up- but you have to watch the http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/ website to see them!
****Now, I'm going to spend some hours brainstorming and  figuring out which questions to ask all of these amazing people....*******

A vaincre sans péril, on triomphe sans gloire.

Today has been incredible.  I woke up, bundled in my super warm, soft blanket and could only hear the soft pitter patter of the rain.  I had put a roast in the crock pot last night so the house smelled delicious.  I rolled over and picked up my phone and saw that I had a new email, letting me know that I have an audition for a feature film that will be filming soon. This is one of those mornings you never want to end.
Later, I got a package in the mail, which is like Christmas. You may know what you got, but it's brand new and you get to open it all by yourself.  Ha.  My brand new Emilio Pucci sunglasses arrived!!  I am in LOVE with them.
They are fun.  Other than that, I am keeping busy like usual.  I shoot with Fausto Hernandez Photography- http://www.faustohernandezphotography.com/ tomorrow, am finishing up a mockumentary and am leaving for L.A. again next week.
The last music video that I was in for the band Access Zero (http://www.access-zero.net/ ) been released!! Thank you to AZ Bay pictures for letting me take part in this project, and for making another amazing video.  Great job to cast, crew and the wonderful band.

Again, cosplay for the Phoenix comicon is still something that we are looking into.  Any and all suggestions are appreciated....

The last week

The last TWO weeks have been rather eventful for me.  I met with the Phoenix comic con and got confirmation that I will be the SPOKESPERSON for the con!  I will be interviewing the guests, dong a few media spots, taking over their blog, doing COSPLAY...and MUCH MUCH more.  Are you excited??  I certainly am!

I also joined the cast of the series Western X http://www.westernxtheshow.com/  I had a chance to work with some amazing and incredible actors and the crew.  You all need to keep an eye out for this because it is going to be intense.  Here are some EXCLUSIVE behind the scenes pics...

On another note, I am heading back to LA to go to a few more workshops and work with some more casting directors. I will hang out with my good friend Donnie :) I'll probably get some more amazing sushi! I will do all I can do get more behind the scenes freebies for you...

In the mean time.....
I may be doing cosplay for my interviews-- remember- I will be interviewing guests like Levar Burton, Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, and James Marsters.....

What should I dress up as?? I wonder…..
