Red Carpet....

I always have a ridiculously good time in California, this time was no exception.  I was on an FX storage lot with a friend and found a phone booth.  I had to get pictures.
I did a lot of shopping, went off-roading, and then got ready for "The Resolve" series premiere.  I will have WAY more pictures Friday or Saturrday.  For now, here is a picture of myself and Helen McCready at the premiere.  Good times.
I have had so many things going on lately that I don't even know where to start.  I got to go spend 3 wonderful weeks with my family, in which time we had a massive amount of snow fall.  It had been 3 years since I had been home, and just as long since I got to play in the snow.  The first snowfall was 14" of powder, which cars were getting stuck in all over town.  I have so many pictures and videos but left them all at home..... I will post as soon as I get them back.
I did as much busy work there as I could.  I painted my Mom's kitchen a beautiful yellow called chiffon pie, (which took me 3 days), helped organize things around the house, shoveled snow, and helped with my Grandma.  She is absolutely wonderful.  Because of a mishap with the airline I ended up having to pay last minute for a return ticket, although I had already bought a round-trip ticket.  Continental will cancel any return flights you have if you miss a connecting flight on the way to your destination.  They do this without an email, warning, heads-up or anything.  Just in case you are thinking of flying that airline, there is something to think about.  A very pricey something to think about.
I was so tempted to stay a few weeks longer, I don't think it's ever been so hard to leave home.  I am very fortunate to be so close with my family.  They are the best :)
As we were leaving for the airport I saw this GIANT deathsicle and jumped out of the car to take a picture.  AHHHH!!!  DONT look up!

I went back for sushi and the chef's made me Lobster Sashimi.  I got to see the Lobster before I ate the dish.  I got the tail- and then the rest was used on top of the most delicious crab roll I have had in my entire life.  I don't think I've ever eaten so much sushi in a sitting.  Those guys are the best.  To show my appreciation for awesomeness and great great food- I am going to show you who they are.  If you are in Santa Clalrita and you see these two preparing your sushi, you just found a gold mine.
