The past few months

Hello bloggers, readers and sexy beasts!! I just got back from the Las Vegas Comic Expo! I've been going to a lot of events, working on film stuff and taking too many pictures to post on just FB and Instagram... so I'm going to be using my blog for my big uploads.
So that I don't confuse you with our of order pics..... Here s what went down this weekend in Vegas...
Until I can properly caption these pics.... I'll tell you what's going on and you can match them with the pics..... Just like a puzzle. WEEEEE!
Ready?
Road trip to Vegas with Cheryl, pics with Brie before the cosplay contest taping for the SYFY channel, pics with Joe Benitez (Ha! And there's the smile he rarely gives! Mwahaha), pics with my girls after dinner, my dinner being cut up for me cuz I'm baller. Then we have some of me with my loves... (Artists/writers) Nei Ruffino, Ebas, Jo Perfilio, Brett Cate. Oh and for those of you that don't follow my fb or instagram.... A highlight of my weekend definitely included meeting Giancarlo Esposito, who played Gus, one of my favorite characters (of all time) on 'Breaking Bad.' I was beyond honored.
During the weekend I shared a table with and helped out artist Kip from KipsWorld, hung out with and made some new friends, stayed up way too late every night and got to meet a bunch of new people that came to see me at my table. It was a fun weekend! :)
Next weekend, I'll be attending the Rapture Horror Expo in Tempe, AZ. Othe guests include Sid Haig, Linda Blair and Toni Darling. Chris of Big Chris Art will be there doing live tattoos (I want some new ink.... And he's my #1 choice). They will screen horror films all weekend and I'll be walking in a horror themed fashion show for ModifiedMinds!
You can still get tickets at www.rapturehorrorexpo.com
I'll be posting lots more this week!!
Until then,
stay sexy, my bitches.

Pin-up and Comic con!

Hey guys! Happy, late, Independence day! What did you do? I have had an incredible start to the month!! Before I tell you about the first week of July- let me finish my last post about June!
So, to recap, The first 2 weeks of June: Worbla, x-23, Dorothy Gale Photoshoot and new prints, Cosplay Calendar, Phoenix Comicon, 'Salvation' premiere.
After the premier of 'Salvation' - which I can't wait for you all to see!! -- I went to Las Vegas!! I drove to Vegas with artists Mike DeBalfoMilen ParvanovRob and Derrick. -- Can I describe our ride? I couldn't begin to describe it.
Car rental- $400
slim Jim- 1.39
Driving across the desert with a truck full of ridiculously hilarious comic men- -priceless.

At the convention I, of course, was running around in different outfits-- on Friday, I was Wednesday.
Saturday, I was Dorothy Gale and Sunday, I was all about hanging out in DeBalfo's Pin-up shirt.
THIS shirt
You see....we were in Vegas. So a Sunday morning was very difficult to wake up and get ready for. I did it. I even walked around in my new favorite sparkle shoes..... but I was feeling the partying of the weekend. Also that weeked I got to visit with the lovely ladies of the calendar. We did some Cosplay Calendar signings and I had a nice set up right next to Mike DeBalfo, Ryan Kincaid and Big Dog Ink. Jimmy Jay, who runs the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con is deserving of more than a generous amount of 'thank you's.' It was a fun and fantastic show.
NEXT---- I went home and didn't even have time to unpack before I was off to LA again! This time not for a premiere of mine but one of a friends. When I got to LA I got new headshots from one of my FAVORITE PEOPLE EVER -- Larry Alan!
After that I was on my way to the LA Film Festival to see 'The Conjuring!" Sadly, the only picture I have of that night is the same one I posted on my FB and Instagram (but if you don't follow me there-- this will be new)
Before the movie with Director James Wan, Fangoria staff and actor Matt Currie
There are about a million reviews out for this movie so I won't post a long one here. However, if you like horror or even thriller type films, this is one to watch. You don't even have to worry about gore. It'll just make you pee your pants because it's so scary. I loved it.
THEN-- after head shots and a fantastic premiere, I got to meet up with the beautiful Toni Darling. Did you know that Toni is the one responsible for putting that sexy Cosplay Calendar together? She's also going to be at SDCC with artist Erik Arreaga at table E12! Go see her, Rosanna Rocha and Ani-Mia! As for the calendars-- You should really go ahead and order one if you haven't already.
Go on.
OK......
Alright , we're just about done with June! After LA, I got home and did a brand new pin-up shoot! An image from this shoot will be debuting as part of another piece drawn by artist Justin Chung at the San Diego Comic Con!! So much! Yay May!!

So even though I have so much going on I can't' see straight, I think it only fair to do my best to share with you.
This month I'm booked with one thing or another every day.... Which means lots of pictures!!
Lets just start with this week. On April 30th I went to visit some friends (Larry and Tara from Larry Alan Photography) and it turned into a night of photo shooting. First, we set up to do a piece that Larry is featuring on his blog, called 10 Frames. We choose 3 outfits, Tara did my makeup and we shot. It was fun, I danced, I screwed around and it felt wonderful! After that shoot, an idea hit Larry and Curtis Lee, a friend that happened to also be visiting, myself and Tara got down and dirty for what turned out to be one of my favorite shoots to date.
We veered away from funky, fresh, pretty, bright and went right to the depths of a madmans soul. Mad (man?)
The set can be viewed at his website, with links to his twitter and Facebook. http://larryalanphoto.com/blog/?p=496
This guy is seriously amazeballs.
After that shoot, I got my Dorothy Gale cosplay on and did an all new photoshoot!! I'm going to be selling 2 prints from this set at conventions and online so choose your favorite and It may be a winner :)
Now, I'm working on my first Worbla piece. I've never molded our worked with plastics before.... but I figure, the more practice, the better I'll get. Plus, I want to bring you all new costumes!! I'm missing Free Comic Book Day because of this piece so it better turn out good!!
I'm going to post pics of my progress throughout the day. I'm doing a Disney villain shoot tomorrow morning at 4am so this piece will have to be finished. I'm going to load pictures soon here and on my instagram. You can follow me at @pocketsized21
If you have worked with worbla or plastics before and have any typos for me, please let me know!
Also, I'm posting from my tablet so please excuse whatever weird formatting the paragraphs and pictures may be in. Deal with it!
