Tucson, comics and me

Did you go to the Tucson Comic con? http://tucsoncomic-con.com/ I attended the 4th annual convention the 1st week of November which was held at the Bookmans event center in Tucson, Arizona.  The event expanded to a larger location and added an entire extra day to the schedule.  There were panels held, costumes worn, pilliow fighting with the Tucson Roller Derby gals and sketches.  On the first day I had a booth by the Arizona Underground Film Festival and got to meet a lot of new people and was so happy to have my friends visit ^_^
I got to walk around on day 2 and I took some pics for myself:

Mike DeBalfo with the beautiful Mary DeBalfo.

On Sunday, some of the artists changed tables so I took over writer Raven Gregory's table.  I sat beside Shelby Robertson and his 2 beautiful table ladies.  Raven visited often-- and of course, the men had to take my glasses.

I took Shelby's

I had more opportunities presented to me at this convention as well.  I will be cosplaying some amazing characters very soon and have a few new photo shoots lined up this month.  This Friday I am finally going to be working on another pin up shoot!

So many new photo shoots and events are coming up! November 21st Western X is releasing another NEW episode!!! Episode 7 will premier on Koldcast.tv.  Also! Thanks to everyone who signed up for the Western X news letter at this months convention!

I'll be back with new pictures from my newest photo shoot within the next 2 weeks!

Work work work

Today my mind is racing.  I was supposed to go to a wedding but instead have been feeling nasous and feverish.  I've known this couple and the groom's family very closely for the last 10 years.  The fact that I am missing one of their most important days is probably not help the sick feeling I have, nicely settled in the pit of my stomach.
YUCK!
On another note---
I have been thinking a lot about the Phoenix Comicon that I am a part of this year.  I will not only have the opportunity to participate at the events and meet all of the supporters, do numerous photoshoots and media spots, but I get to interview the guests before and during the convention.  Guests that include media people like:
Wil Wheaton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000696/
Felicia Day http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000696/
Levar Burton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000996/)
James Marsters http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0551346/
Lou Ferrigno http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002073/   <----come on, did you really have click on the link? Doubful.
But comic artists, inkers, and writers such as:
Eric Basaldua- http://ebas.deviantart.com/  I had the pleasure of meeting him last year.  His work has gotten even better since just 2009 alone.-- It's aproaching "absolutely fucking amazing." Truth.

Raven Gregory http://www.comicbookdb.com/creator.php?ID=5732

Ethan Van Sciver - http://ethanvansciver.comicbloc.com/

Jonnie Allan- http://www.akacomics.com/

I have to admit that I am thrilled to have this opportunity.  As you remember, I did promotions and video blogs for the Tucson Comiccon last year.  This is similar....just multiply it.

(TCC X more amazing) X (More guests, bands) X (much bigger convention center and spanning 4 days)= My new job.

Yes, it is going to be a show, that's for sure.  I will be doing cosplay too.  I have some costumes in the works.

Now this will be my first posistion doing interviews.  I figure, I can host, act and model.  I should be able to pull of some pretty good interviews.

We have bands playing, awesome events, panels and more. I will be at the Mesa Bookmans tomorrow from 130-3pm while the signing is going on.  I won't necessarily be at the table, but if you look hard enough, you'll probably find me roaming the store....Make sure to say hi!!!!!

I have some pre-con interviews set up- but you have to watch the http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/ website to see them!

****Now, I'm going to spend some hours brainstorming and  figuring out which questions to ask all of these amazing people....*******
