Busy month!!

Hey my sexy vixens and studly men---- I'm back with some more updates.  Oh yes.  Update time!!!
As you may already know (or will shortly learn), I was filming in a full length motion picture, Camp 139.  We started filming early this year and at the end of July, we wrapped on production! I play a high schooler in love, Haley.  Here is a synopsis of the film:
"Set in Fossil Creek, Arizona, the film depicts a drug fueled camping trip gone to hell, when a militant killing machine begins to stalk four teens through the wilderness, luring them toward an abandoned Army hospital. In this high-school political horror, Stacy (Sarah Wilson) and Brandon (Joshua Johnson) are pulled away from a weekend of romance when their classmates Haley (Victoria Paege) and Mike (Frank Prell) become captives of The Patient, a perverse medical experiment stemming from the hospital's post World War II research. With the help of Mike's slacker brother John (Shane Dean, DEADFALL TRAIL, DEATH FACTORY BLOODLETTING) they locate the hospital, making a last-ditch effort to save their friends - or die trying."
You can keep watch as the editing progresses and more stills are released http://www.wix.com/nuclearfilms/camp139
This Saturday, August 27th, I will be in Glendale at Jesse James Comics celebrating his 2 year anniversary.  Zenescope artists will be in attendance as well as shop owner Jesse James.  Come visit, hang out, party and get some comics and original art while you're at it.  http://www.jessejamescomics.com/site/
Next up on September 3rd and 4th I start filming in a horror film by Bobby Blood http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Blood, called Terror 66.  I'm not going to give too much away on this just yet.   As the film progresses I will keep you all updated.
The following weekend--  September 10th, I will be in Tempe, AZ at an event to raise money for the Phoenix Childrens Hospital at Pop Culture Paradise http://www.facebook.com/PopCultureParadise?ref=ts&sk=wall.
Nei Ruffino, Mike Debalfo, Jessica Nigri and many more will be there to help raise money only $10.00 gets you a sketch, photo op or signed print.  Come on down and party with us comic geeks.
Next up (or during the next 3 weeks) are some photo shoots.  First- I am going to be doing promo cards for the owner of Kill! .  We will be premiering these at conventions and in his shop.  More details and links to come on that as well.
Also, I am looking to do a really special photo shoot to represent my favorite female character. I have received permission directly from the creator and artist of the character and have sent all of the images to my talented seamstress, Amanda Tucker http://modifiedminds.com/ but now all I need is a little help from all of you.
I want to be able to bring you an incredible representation of this character but the materials are a little pricey.  I have set up a donate button from paypal if you would like to help more cosplay characters come to life.  For every $25 donated, I will send you 2 signed prints- 1 from the next shoot I do and the other from a shoot of your choice. Thank you in advance for any and everything.  YAY! for helping friends!

On another note----  In November I will be starting back up with Cazador Productions.  This means, oh yes, A Six Gun for Lobo!
(yup, that's me on the banner to the left of Lobo.  I'm in real life to the right...OmgLobosandwich!! I feel like I created a portal into another dimension with that one.)
Annnnnnyways---No shooting dates are set yet but this is when things will get rolling.  I play Alexis 'Lady' Lynch, a character that will briefly be introduced in the last episodes of season one of Western X.  This short series will follow Alexis and an opium addicted smuggler, Lobo (Dan Narciso) on an action filled journey that introduces us to a whole new world of Western X.  This is a more gritty version with drugs, sex, harsh language, murder....you get the point. Keep updated here: http://asixgunforlobo.com/
Last but in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, LEAST------- A Man Called Nereus is in the final stages of post production. The trailer should be out within the next few weeks and more and more updates are being added to the FB page weekly.  The website will soon be fully functional and an IMDB will also be out soon.
Phew!!!  So much news -- but I HAD to share it all with you.  I'm going to be posting a little more often now.  Pictures from shoots, updates on my projects and places you can come and see me will be prevalent in the future.  Thanks for hangin in there so long with me between posts.  You are all supah  fly.  Yeah, I just said that.  : p

Chick mcnoodles

Hey everyone! Thanks for sticking with me through workouts...and no workouts.
I have been doing much better now that I haven't been broadcasting to all what I had "planned" on attaining and doing.  It seems to work much better that way.  Plus, we all falter at times and I think it's important not only that you see that, but that I can accept that myself and be ok with it.
On another note: After a 6 month seemingly dull period in my work life, everything is coming back together.  YAY! I did my 3 day guest appearance at the SabotenCon October 1-3rd and it was amazing.  I met some incredible people and my neighbor was an amazing individual by the name of David Doube.  David is the author of Dusk( http://www.duskcomics.com/) a dark Vampire comic that was VERY popular with the crowd.  I'm going to break into a story about Dusk Comics for a moment because it's important that I include this.
During the convention one of Davids artists, Jolene Houser (http://jolene-h.deviantart.com/) who was to accompany him at his table, got in a horrible car accident on the way to the convention.  We got so much support from the attendees and had a huge poster board signed with well wished and a card was passed around to the convention guests that was later taken to her in the hospital.  Fortunately, she was released from ICU that weekend and is recovering nicely.  David has decided to work with local talent to get a book together to help Jolene out with her insane medical bills.  I will make sure to keep you updated with any links so that you can check it out and show support.  Also, any artists that may want to contribute, please contact me and I will get you in touch with David.  Thank you all for your support.
Last week I received an email from a friend in the business.  She had cc'd me on a message that she sent to a director.  This director was looking for the lead in his short film 'Raindrops' and couldn't find the right fit.  Shortly thereafter, I received an email from the director and we set up a meeting.  After meeting with him and chatting for about 3 hours, I am proud to say that I will be playing the lead in the film.  There are some other great actors involved as well and we start filming in November.  We are going to be filming up north, probably in the Sedona area.  I am excited because I have only been there 1 or 2ce years ago with my family and never for an extended period of time.  I look forward to working working with this crew and sharing pictures and updates with you.
I also want to let you know that I am now going to be working with Comic Book Divas http://comicbookdivas.com/ as a core member.  That means that you will see me at even MORE conventions, sporting their shirts and helping to promote their comics and comics that I have a character in as well.   I have 2 different comics coming out in February so if you see me at the conventions make sure to stop by and get a book or some prints.

Also, I have been informed that the Western X spin off in which I play the lead will start filming and producing promo within the next 2 weeks. Western X, by the way, was accepted to the Beverly Hills Film and new media festival and will be showing on October 24th! http://www.bhfilmtvnewmedia.com/
Too stay up to date with the spin off western/action series go to http://asixgunforlobo.com/  You can also follow the show and get updates and behind the scenes pics by following them on twitter: http://twitter.com/ASixGunForLobo
What new web series are you looking forward to? Which genres do you not see enough of?

news-a-rama

Hi again... yeah, the last post and this one are very close together.  Deal with it! More to read anyways ^_^
Shelf Life Weekly caught up with me during the first day of the Comicon and did a very short interview.  I didn't have much time to chat with them outside of this interview as we were all rushing around but they were very nice men and I thank them for their time.

Phoenix Comicon 2010 Shelf Life Weekly Volume 2 from Shelf Life Weekly on Vimeo.

Now.... I just got a cool piece of news....  although there are no set plans for anything ........yet- I still want to share something awesome with all of you.  This is a teaser onesheet from the producer of Western X.

I don't have many details on this yet but what I CAN tell you is that you will be seeing a lot more of me and really get an in depth look at these characters.  That means of course, an opportunity for you to watch this character develop in a short amount of time.  This is not a movie, just a short side story. I am very hopeful and excited.  As I know more I will share.

I have also joined with the AZ Avengers.  I will be portraying both X-23 and Pepper Pots, depending on what character is needed.  This organization dresses like the Avengers and then does promo work while also focusing on charity work.  We will be visiting hospitals, nursing homes etc. in order to bring smiles and love.  You can visit and join the facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/ArizonaAvengers?ref=ts

Remember, I will be at SAC Horror in September in California, the Saboten-con October 1-3rd in Arizona and the Tucson Comicon November 6th in Tucson Arizona.

Also-- WHO'S WATCHING THE WORLD CUP?!?!?!  What do you think so far???

Stir Fry and Cosplay

Here we go! It's 11 days until the Phoenix Comicon. It's Crunch time baby!
I've been doing Ab ripper X (from p90x) and the workouts from Bodyrock.tv.  If anyone has ever served as inspiration to working hard for a hot body it's that chick.  She looks amazing.
I have 2 interviews up and ready to view now, you can watch them here:
Phoenix Comicon 2010 Interview - Brian Skiba - Funny blooper videos are here

I'm having issues with the media sites at this time so to see the Brian Pulido interview go to http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/ and then on the LEFT you will see the link to click into.

As for costumes!!!!-  Here is what I will be dressing up as so far--

Ok, I am doing Poison Ivy for sure. That is number 1-- if it is completed by the 19th then you will see me on Channel 12 news representing!!  What what!
Now it's up to you!! We have time for a total of THREE more costumes that I will be wearing during the convention from May 27-30th.  I will have a different costume on every day of the convention, which will be filmed and photographed.  I will also be sitting with A Slice of Sci-Fi on Friday during their LIVE taping- so YOU tell ME what you want to see me in.
One last option that seems to be a favorite so far----

Now it's  up to me to continue eating my healthy diet of veggies, fruits, and home made unprocessed foods so that I can look great in whatever you choose.  The awesome workouts Im doing will help a bit too ;-p

Interterviews and comic hotties!~

I'm working to keep you as updated as possible on all levels! Facebook, twitter, my blog and soon the Phoenix comicon blog.  Phew!!
Here is what's been going on with me:  As I told you all, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to have a new comic character modeled in my likeness.  The first sketch is done!!
This is a comic that is being written by Jeff Hughes and drawn by artist Dennis Willman.  It features some beautiful scream queens, actors and models.  I am so very fortunate to be a part of this project.  Keep track of the progress by visiting http://comicbookdivas.com/ and adding them on facebook.

Speaking of Facebook...
I am now primarily using Facebook, twitter, this blog, Livevideo.com and the Phoenix Comicon blog.  I appreciate all who add and find me on Myspace but I do not use that account and very rarely have time to use that to answer any messages or even see what's going on in your world.  Don't take it personally.
Other than this comic, I have been doing a lot of taped interfiews with guests that will be attending the Phoenix Comicon.  I have some pictures from some of the interviews... I will post them here, and more can be found- along with video-- at http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/
Make sure you go to the blog. :)
That was at Free comic Book day.  The volunteers were helping man the table for the free comicon passes!!

This is a set picture from the feature "Crushed Velvet" directed by Brian Skiba.  We got there on a night of a very intense scene.  You could tell the intensity just by walking in the room and seeing all of the actors.  The aor of such a scene is much like you would exoect to feel in a real situation if you have experienced and talented actors.

And last but not least, here is me getting ready to head out to interview.  I don't have any costumes made yet so I decided it would be fun to dress up on my own. Yes, I have beautiful purple in my hair.  I got this shirt from Atomic Comics...yes, THE Atomic Comics featured in the movie Kick Ass.
I love the store and have been going for years.  I met Mark Millar there weeks after Wanted came out

There I am with Mark Millar, Tony Harris, my ridiculous bangs and my mister-- and War Heroes #1 of course.

Lots of other projects, shoots etc. are in the works.  I'll keep you posted like I always do!
I'll be doing some photoshoots and hopping on Livevideo.com to do live q and a's..... what social media do you use??  What would you like to see in future shoots that I do?

Much love and appreciation for all of you--
